Background and mission of Steyn Inc.

Steyn Inc. is a boutique law firm based in Benoni, Gauteng, offering strategic legal solutions across a broad spectrum of commercial and general civil law. With a client-focused ethos, we aim to simplify complex legal challenges and deliver practical results through efficiency, responsiveness, and in-depth expertise.

Founder's bio and credentials: - Christo Steyn

Christo Steyn, an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, is the founder and principal of Steyn Inc. He holds an LLB degree from the University of Johannesburg 2009, and has also completed numerous courses, including an Advanced Certificate in Business Rescue through UNISA and a Programme in South African Business Rescue through SARIPA and INSOL International. Being a registered Junior Business Rescue Practitioner with CIPC, business rescue is a passion to him. He has over a decade of experience in civil and commercial litigation, banking law, insolvency, trust law, and municipal billing disputes.

Prior to establishing Steyn Inc.

Christo served at reputable firms including Gishen-Gilchrist Inc and Boshoff Inc and is currently working as a consultant for Liebenberg Malan Mofolo Inc and led high-stakes litigation in the High Court, Supreme Court of Appeal, and Constitutional Court. He is known for his tenacity, tactical litigation skills, and ability to navigate urgent, high-value disputes with precision.

7. How do I legally evict a tenant?

You must follow legal procedure under the PIE Act, including notice, a court application, and a court order. Unlawful evictions can lead to legal penalties.
